Constructo was built around a simple frustration: some of the best contractors in a market lose work to companies that simply market themselves better. We help remodelers and roofers close that gap — by improving how they're found, how they're chosen, and what happens after the lead comes in.

Founder, Constructo Marketing
Why Constructo exists
I grew up around the trades before I ever worked in marketing. My family includes people in masonry and electrical work, so contractors weren't a niche I found because an agency coach told me it was profitable. They were people I knew.
Later, I moved into digital marketing and SEO — still the original discipline behind what we do — after graduating from Widener University in 2023. I became obsessed with a different question: why do homeowners choose one contractor over another?
I'm not going to pretend I still swing a hammer. The credibility comes from understanding the world and the business behind it. Constructo came out of those two worlds colliding.
Constructo sits at the intersection of two worlds: how contractors actually operate and how homeowners actually find and choose them.
The problem
A company can have better craftsmanship, better crews, happier customers, and decades of experience — and still lose the job. Why? Because another company:
How we think
Almost everything we do fits into one of these three jobs. If a tactic does not help a contractor get found, get chosen, or grow more effectively, we should question why we're doing it.
Be present when homeowners are actively looking.
Make it easier for the homeowner to trust you and take the next step.
Turn marketing activity into a stronger business.
How we got here
Constructo didn't add services because we wanted a longer menu. We added capabilities because solving one growth problem often exposed the next one.
A great company should not lose trust because its website undersells the quality of its work.
A beautiful website without visibility is still just a brochure.
Organic visibility compounds, but sometimes the business needs to capture demand that exists right now.
More leads don't help if nobody responds quickly or follows up.
If the owner can't tell which channels produce real opportunities, marketing decisions become guesswork.
Eventually the question becomes bigger than “How are the ads doing?” It becomes “Where should the next marketing dollar go?”
Every step brought us back to the same question: what actually makes a contractor grow?
Beyond the lead
Most agencies can show clicks, impressions, traffic, rankings, and form fills. Those numbers matter. But the owner experiences marketing as one long chain.
The weakest link in that chain affects the entire result.
A great ad campaign cannot fix a phone nobody answers.
More traffic cannot fix a sales process that never follows up.
A great website cannot fix an offer homeowners don't want.
An informal mystery-shop
We once mystery-shopped 22 roofing companies. Only one answered the phone using the company name. That's not really an advertising problem. That's thousands of dollars of generated demand landing on a phone nobody is treating like part of the sales system.
The goal isn't more marketing. It's a better business because the marketing works.
What we believe
Contractors have plenty of reasons to be skeptical of marketing agencies. These principles are how we try to earn the trust instead of asking for it.
Your marketing budget comes out of the same business that has to make payroll, buy materials, maintain trucks, and keep crews working. We treat it accordingly.
Checking the task off is not the same as finishing the job. If we change a form, we test it. If we launch a campaign, we make sure it tracks. If something doesn't work, we own it and fix it.
Your domain, website, Google Business Profile, advertising accounts, analytics, and data. Core marketing assets should not be held hostage by an agency.
Rankings, traffic, and leads matter — because they contribute to something bigger. We care about the economics behind the marketing and whether the business is actually getting healthier.
The work
We went from being pretty much unranked on Google search to being #2 in our area! Highly recommend Dan and Constructo if you are a contractor looking for a top-notch website and digital marketing strategy.
Phenomenal team to work with. They over deliver on the value they provide — coaching me on my website build, Google, marketing strategies and the KPIs I need to grow my business.
Working with the Constructo team has been an absolute blessing. They understand my company's vision and educate us on the back end while building our new website.
Who we serve
Constructo's deepest focus today is residential remodeling and roofing. We've also worked across the broader home-service industry, which gives us perspective on how different trades generate, convert, and follow up with demand.
A strong fit if you
Probably not a fit if you want
The team
Dan's story explains why Constructo exists. The work itself is done by specialists across the growth system.
Channel priorities, budget, and the plan behind the work.
Organic, local, and AI search visibility across your service area.
Local Services Ads and paid search managed toward booked work.
Sites built to convert homeowners, not win awards.
Pages and guides that answer what homeowners actually ask.
Follow-up that happens whether or not anyone remembers.
Tracking, attribution, and reporting tied back to jobs.
Someone who owns the timeline and answers your email.
What you should expect
You should understand what is being worked on and why.
Activity should connect to an actual growth problem or opportunity.
Your website, domain, Google profiles, ad accounts, analytics and business data remain in your name. Our proprietary systems and workflows stay ours — no hostage marketing, either way.
Bad news does not improve by hiding it inside a report.
Marketing should connect as closely to revenue as the available data allows.

The mission
There are excellent remodeling and roofing companies doing work they should be proud of — but the market doesn't always know it. Constructo exists to help the right homeowners find them, trust them, choose them, and get followed up with properly when they raise their hand.
If you're building a remodeling or roofing company you're proud of and want a team that actually wants to understand the business behind the marketing, tell us what you're working toward.
