FAQ
The questions agencies usually dodge
answered here instead.
Marketing agencies have a bad habit of making everything sound more complicated than it needs to be. So we'd rather answer the questions upfront — pricing, websites, SEO, AI search, advertising, ownership and what it's actually like to work with us.
About Constructo
Who we are
Constructo helps home-service companies get found, get chosen, and grow. Depending on the company, that may include website design and management, SEO, Local SEO, AI Search Optimization, Local Services Ads, Google Ads, CRM and lead follow-up, tracking and attribution, Fractional CMO services and broader marketing strategy.
We don't believe every company needs every service. The goal is to figure out where your biggest growth opportunities are and build the right marketing system around them.

Pricing
What it costs
It depends on what you need. Our website subscription may start around $299/month, while larger programs involving SEO, Local SEO, paid search or strategic leadership can cost substantially more.
Some companies may spend a few hundred dollars per month with Constructo. Others may invest several thousand. We believe pricing should be transparent, so we publish starting prices and typical investment ranges whenever possible.
Websites
Website-as-a-Service
Instead of paying thousands upfront, you pay a monthly fee for the website and ongoing management. Exact inclusions depend on the plan you choose.
- Design and development
- Hosting and security
- Maintenance and updates
- Mobile optimization
- Forms and basic SEO foundations
- Analytics and support
SEO
Getting found in search
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. In simple terms, it's the work involved in helping your business appear when people search for the services you provide.
For a roofing company that might mean “roofing company near me,” “roof replacement,” “roof repair” or “roofing contractor in [city].” SEO can involve your website, content, technical setup, local authority, backlinks, site architecture and other signals search engines use to understand and rank businesses.
AI search
AI Search Optimization
AI SEO — also called AI Search Optimization, Generative Engine Optimization or GEO — focuses on improving how a company is understood and represented across AI-powered search and answer engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI experiences.
The goal isn't simply to “use AI to write articles.” It's to strengthen the signals that help machines understand who your company is, where you operate, what services you provide, what you're known for and whether your information deserves to be referenced.
Local Services Ads
Google Guaranteed
Local Services Ads (LSAs) are Google's lead-generation ads for eligible local service businesses. They often appear prominently above traditional organic results, and instead of paying for clicks, companies typically pay for eligible leads. They can be extremely valuable for certain home-service categories.
Google Ads
Paid search
There is no universal answer. A roofer selling $20,000 roofs has very different economics from a company selling $300 service calls — we'd rather work backward from the economics than pick an arbitrary budget.

Leads & CRM
Follow-up systems
Yes, but generating more leads isn't always the first problem to solve. We've seen companies spending thousands per month while calls go unanswered, forms aren't followed up, estimates aren't tracked, leads sit in inboxes and nobody knows where jobs came from.
Sometimes the fastest path to more revenue is improving what happens to the leads you already have.
Fractional CMO
Marketing leadership
A Fractional CMO gives a company experienced marketing leadership without hiring a full-time Chief Marketing Officer. Instead of managing one channel, the Fractional CMO oversees the bigger picture.
- Marketing strategy and planning
- Budget allocation
- Vendor management
- Channel selection
- Lead quality and attribution
- Brand strategy and hiring
- Marketing KPIs and sales alignment
Working with us
The engagement
Onboarding depends on the service, but generally we want to understand your company, goals, services, service areas, marketing history, revenue model, current lead sources, sales process, existing technology, competition and capacity. From there, we establish what needs to happen first.
Ownership
Ownership & transparency
Your business should own its important marketing assets. Where possible, advertising accounts belong to the client, with Constructo receiving the access necessary to manage them.
Results
Results & expectations
It depends on the campaign, and we want to move as far down the funnel toward actual business outcomes as the available data allows.
- Qualified calls and form submissions
- Booked appointments
- Cost per lead and per qualified opportunity
- Search visibility and map rankings
- Organic traffic and conversion rate
- LSA and Google Ads performance
- Closed jobs and revenue attribution
